The vision alone cannot accomplish the mission. Humbly, as elders, we are learning this. We have infiltrated you with vision. We have preached, taught and written about how many people are lost in the Triangle, and how we are on mission with Jesus to go and get those people for the sake of the Kingdom. We’ve made it crystal clear that this is the greatest call of our Church. However, we’ve noticed something: the vision, “The Why,” isn’t compelling us as people or as the church to move. So, the problem lies with one of two things. Either the vision sucks and isn’t worth laboring over, or you don’t know how to accomplish it -- perhaps a better way to say it is, that we haven’t been very effective in equipping you to accomplish it. We believe it’s the second reason. Equipping you is really where the hope for our year of health lies. In order to accomplish the vision, we need you to be healthy and well equipped to do so.

Here’s where we are starting:

- Further development of Owners nights and the teaching that happens there.
- Implementing a Church Wide Education system called “Journey Classes.” All of you are on a journey to completeness in Christ; these classes will be designed to help move you forward in your journey. (See Journey Classes on the forum for a complete list.)
- We’ll continue to talk vision. Without the why, there is no catalyst for equipping.
