We are having our monthly owners night this coming Tuesday, 2/25/08 @ 7:00 p.m. I hope you will do all you can to make it there. We will explore two different topics this coming week as we begin our "Year of Health" by helping you take ownership of your spiritual development. Here is where we are going:
1) We will talk about prayer for about 25-30 minutes. This is one of those topics that we feel guilty about as we don't pray. Our hope is that as a church we would be convicted to pray more in community, in pairs and in private.
2) We will start a multi-month look at the "Heart." One question that is burning inside of me is "How do we come to a place where all we want is Jesus?" I think it goes back to our hearts and so, we will look at some saints in scripture and learn from them.
