At Vintage21, we believe that Scripture has the power to transform people’s lives, changing people from within. As a church, we believe we ought to speak Scripture into people’s lives to bring about repentance, redemption and growth in Christ. We train deacons in biblical life coaching to meet with individuals who are in a place where they are desperate for God’s truth and are willing to allow the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts. In cases where individuals are not open to the gospel or are in need of professional counseling or medication, we have a list of references that can provide alternate services. Life coaches do not believe they themselves are instigating change in the counselee’s life, but are a medium through which the Holy Spirit may choose to work.
