I'd like to reveal the tracks that will be on the upcoming Vintage21 Worship Album "All Things Praise". Talk about a difficult process- we've written close to 50 original worship songs here at Vintage21. In choosing the songs that made the album, several factors were taken into consideration...

1. Theology: do they represent Jesus accurately and clearly?
2. Well-received: which songs are the ones that our congregation truly engages in worship? This isn't always easy to judge, but it is a factor. For instance, I feel, see, and sense the worship of Christ from our hearts when we sing "You Made It All", the song written from Psalm 146 by Taylor Roberts.
3. Singable, Listenable: Which songs have a good melody, are the ones that people are drawn to sing along to?
4. Recording Consideration: How will they translate to being recorded in a studio setting? For instance, "We'll Praise You" is an energetic live song, but will it record well? We ended up putting it on the album, but it really required every bit of energy we had on every track- you can't lay back on that one!
5. Joy and Energy: This is something you'll hear a great deal about at Vintage21. We tend to lean towards reflecting, at times causing our abandoned praise of Christ to suffer. The direction we are headed is towards joyful hearts that respond appropriately to the prompting of Jesus. This was a factor in choosing which songs made the album.

Without further ado, here are the songs that will be on "All Things Praise"
(in alphabetical order)
    All Things Praise
    Glory to God
    Heartsong
    I Will Sing to You
    Remain
    Rescue Me
    We'll Praise You
    Wood and String
    You Made It All
    You Know My Way
    Your Love

Stay tuned to the Vintage21 Forums for more information!

I love the songs written by Vintage21 musicians and I can't wait to have them at the ready on my iPod & in my car!

The songs you all write "hit home" with so many things that we encounter throughout the week. I've already been able to use at least one V21 original song to connect with someone who was going through a particularly difficult time. It was an excellent reminder of the truth of who God is--despite our circumstance.
