Men,
What can we say? We are incredibly thankful for all that happened last Saturday at the men’s conference. It was immensely humbling to participate as the spirit of God began moving us, through repentance, towards the “privileged slavery” of honoring Christ through being Godly men. It was incredible. As Pastor’s, there simply is no greater joy. Our greatest hope for your lives is that you would know the surpassing fullness of Christ, through humble obedience and service to him.
As the day began, God’s presence came to rest with us. It continued as each of the speaker’s addressed topics that are at the heart of biblical manhood. Masculinity, The Call to Build the Kingdom, Sin and how men should treat Ladies.
It was a hard, yet moving day. The amount of men who responded in repentance was more than we expected. The Elders and Speakers talked with more than 30 men who confessed their apathy and self-centeredness, and prayed to reconcile themselves with God the father.
It is our great desire that Saturday wouldn’t be a day of the past, but would be a constant reminder of the impact our sin has on our families, relationships, and our call to build the kingdom of God. We want last Saturday to continue, not as a calling of the past, but in the daily grind of the pursuit of Biblical Masculinity.
It must continue! It has to continue! Lives are literally at stake if we don’t continue to repent and continue to take ground for the kingdom of God.
We are busy meeting with Men who confessed and repented last Saturday. We’re laboring to encourage, enable and equip them to love their families, love their church, and love the people of our city.
To better enable us to do that we like to know where you are at with how the conference went down. What was missing? What are some things that were relevant, that hit home and what are the things we didn’t address? We’d love to come beside you and walk with you in areas the conference didn’t speak to.
Men, we have to continue to move past our apathy and self-centeredness and move towards Christ. Too much is at stake. Too much is at stake.
Would you let us know? How can we help, how can we walk with you, and finally, how can we call you out?
Below are our E-mail’s. We’d love to hear from you.
