The gospel forces us to ask tough questions about our ability as a church to reach all people. A weakness that we’ve constantly battled is that we’re fairly one-generational. We have a predominantly twenties crowd, lacking older and younger generations (Young Marrieds, keep making babies and we’ll remedy that in 5-10 years or so no matter what). We are humbled that God has been gracious and given us incredible favor with our generation of people and a strong ability to attract like-minded folks, but because the gospel is in fact for all people, we have to ask what aspects of our church are obstacles to inviting a larger generation into our community to experience the gospel. This may require any of the following:
- Stylistic Changes
- Environmental Changes
- Worship Changes
- Preaching Changes |
